Introduction:

This project involved creating a video introducing Unitywater’s newly developed uLearn Leaders Portal within their LMS system, SUMtotal. The target audience was Unitywater’s leadership team, who would use the dashboard to manage their direct and indirect reports’ training, learning, and development needs.

Objectives:

• Introduce the uLearn Leaders Portal to Unitywater’s leadership team.
• Provide an overview of the dashboard’s key features.
• Serve as both a training tool and a launch vehicle for the portal.
• Supplement an email marketing campaign aimed at all leaders within the organisation.

Approach and Methodology:

Crafted from screenshots supplied by the Manager of PowerPoint slides transformed into a dynamic video with voiceover using ScreenPal. This user-friendly tool facilitated video creation and editing. Unitywater’s YouTube channel featured the final video, which became a centrepiece at a leadership meeting.

Results/Impact:

The video was pivotal in successfully launching Unitywater’s uLearn Leaders Portal. Leaders saw it at a meeting, and we featured it in an email marketing campaign sent to the entire leadership team. Additionally, screens across Unitywater’s corporate offices displayed a separate 20-second marketing video produced for the project. Overall, the project hit its marks, effectively introducing leaders to the new portal and providing essential training resources.
